One of the richest, most diverse and most beautiful treasuries of the institute is Treasury of Porcelain, Glass and Ceramic. In this treasury, more than 20,000 works of art from Iran and other countries of the world are kept. The oldest work of this treasury is a sample of the glass used in the Chogha Zanbil temple and of the most significant works in this collection are the glass works belonging to the Sassanid era. The beautiful works of cut glass, crystal and opaline glass made in different countries such as France, Germany and Czechoslovakia in prestigious factories like the Rosenthal, Mason, Baccarat, Bohemia, etc. have added to the beauty and richness of this collection.
